Shabbat services are held every Friday evening, usually at 8:00 p.m., and are followed by an Oneg Shabbat prepared by members of the Temple family. On Monthly Shabbat Suppers, a Tot Shabbat service is typically held at 6 p.m., followed by the Shabbat Suppers at 6:30 p.m., and Shabbat service at 7:30 p.m. Our congregation uses the Gates of Prayer prayerbook for Shabbat and holidays and Gates of Repentance for High Holy Day services. Services are conducted in Hebrew and in English and are usually accompanied by a professional choir. Holiday services are held for all major Jewish holy days and involve the membership in all aspects of the service. Holy day services are open to the public at no cost. Child care is provided at the Temple for High Holy Days and other special events. |
